Weekend Delights
Well, the past week has been great for United. With a League Cup final and a pass thru to the fifth round of the FA Cup, and best of all, beating Liverpool.
On a personal note, the play of Kieron Richardson is a delight to behold and if the gaffer can keep Kieron's feet on the ground, I see him being a very important part in the future of this team. His passing of the ball is a real joy to behold and while not in Beck's class, this kid is going to go far.
For all the scores and latest action, just click on the ESPN or Man Utd online links to get the best and fastest news about our team. The West Ak Red link has coverage of the Champion sunday football team. And don't forget to sign the guestbook.
Speaking of the sunday football, Ken manager has arranged some preseason get togethers, commencing in early February !!! If you feel like playing some casual football this season let Ken, Gareth or Marc know or just rock up at any of the matches this season and introduce yourself. This is a club team and any member of the Supporters Club can play if they wish, age is no barrier.
As stated in the magazine last year, we are looking for your stories and memories of the NZ Supporters Club from the past 10 years and any stories or experiences of the Manchester United team. First game you ever saw, funniest thing, etc ... Please send all stories to Gareth for publication in the monthly magazine.
"Say what ?"
The next meeting is at the Speakers Corner in Browns Bay on Wednesday February 15th, from about 7 pm on, come along and sample some fine ales and meet the crew. The Speakers also has an excellent dining menu if required.
