Steve and Carrie have a wonderful baby girl. Everyone is fine, her name is Anamaya and she weighed in at 7lb 15oz.

Way to finish Red's !!!

After a patchy last few games, the Red Devils finally turned it on against Charlton. Right from the start United went on the attack and Kieron Richardson was very unlucky with a thunderbolt shot from 35 yards out that cannoned off the underside of the crossbar and somehow failed to cross the goal line. Then Ronaldo, Kieron and Saha with great support from Giggs took it to the reds of Charlton finally winning the game 4-0. A great end to a real up and down season and plenty of promise for the 2006-2007 matches.

So full steam ahead for the World Cup, bad luck for Wayne, but hopefully Ronaldo will turn it on for Portugal, and GOOOOOO CROATIA.

Oh Captain ! my Captain !

The welcome return of Captain Mike and the Korean hitman Taek couldn't stop Man Utd NZ from losing to a very young looking Ranui Old Boys team.
On a soggy Starling Park, Man Utd NZ struggled to keep pace with the new Chilean attack of the men in yellow and only another superb goal from Wesley and a cracker from Mike cheered the Red spirit.

A blue day

Well, blue was the colour of the weekend, with Manchester United faltering against Chelsea and a under strength Man Utd NZ falling to the Northcote Presidents. Both winning teams played the better football, so congratulations all round.


The Manchester United FC New Zealand Supporters Club's monthly meeting is on Wednesday the 17th of May at the Speakers Corner in Browns Bay, 7.30 kick off.
