A full strength Manchester United overpowered Bolton this morning, with Wayne Rooney scoring an amazing hat-trick in a welcome return to the goal-scorers list.

at the Reebok
Manchester United play Bolton at the Reebok stadium this weekend. We have a poor record at Bolton the last few years, so hopefully the guys will keep their eyes on the ball, not like mid week against Crewe.

Rio Rio Rio
Manchester United dominated Liverpool in this mornings match at Old Trafford. While not a great performance by Utd, the Liverpool attack hardly bothered Van the man, then Scholes scored again just before half-time, in his 500th match and a classic goal from Rio in the second half.
Wonderful

Copenhagen and the raffle
Sorry people, seems there is still a few crossed wires in the system.
Manchester United easily accounted for Copenhagen FC in Wednesday mornings game, tho only after old faithful Scholesy smacked one in just before halftime. Rooneys miss just seconds after halftime, clearly demonstrated the lack of killer instinct, as having chipped the keeper and only needing to head the ball in to the empty net, he paused for a second and a defender got back to clear. No mind tho, cause I have seen more of Waynes talent in the last two games than in any other matches, as he seems to have switched in to the provider role.
The level of skill displayed by Ronaldo, Rooney, Saha and to a lesser extent Richardson, clearly shows a large gap between them and the other United players (Giggs and Scholes excepted) none more so than when they more the ball around the park. The way the fullback Evra comes up in attack, shows that he clearly believes he can contribute more than some of the current midfielders.
The meeting was well attended and the chat was full on, with the mornings game and upcoming Liverpool game on this weekend. Monday morning 12.55 am.
The winner of the PAUL SCHOLES personally signed jersey was Paula of Pukekohe, well done. Other prize winners will notified.
Seems there was a mini club meeting at Kiwitea St last Saturday, with Riccardo, Michael, Danni, Woody and Rob watching the game from the bar and old Kina Cut (Mike) on the field refereeing. Well done guys, good to show some support for local football and I hope you didn't give the ref too much stick.

A game of two halves
Ole and Lightning Louis have formed an outstanding attacking unit and rescued Utd from a lacklustre first half to a comfortable win against Wigan.
When Wayne Rooney finally figured out the ball wasn't going in, he turned into the ultimate provider, a role, in which he looked like, he really enjoyed.
Go you REDS

Cold as ice
The Urusskis froze the bouys out, 0-2, though one was a dubious penalty. And then Neville finally put the ball in the net, just the wrong one, as England continued their woeful performances since the loss of Becks. But Wales restored some pride, Northern Ireland continued on their way and the south got back track as well.
Uniteds game is the early one on Sunday morning (subject to Skys erratic programming dept) at 12.40 am, against Wigan. Hope the boys aren't flat after all the Euro football, because Wigan with their lack of international players might just spring one on us at home.
Remember, tickets for the Paul Scholes personally signed jersey close next Wednesday at the October club meeting, get a hold of Gareth or any committee member to secure tickets, only FIVE dollars each.
Need at least EIGHT more players for TAUPO or it ain't happening, so get in touch as soon as.

Results, Taupo, Raffle ...
Well what a weekend, Alexander the Greats men set up camp at Old Trafford and earned a point, though Neville missed a sitter (who would wanna be a manager !). Ronaldo bagged a couple for Portugal, Northern Ireland got a deserved draw against the Danes and a couple of horror results for Wales and Ireland. But the shining light for this laddie was Scotlands defeat of France, just wonderful.

Manchester United demonstrated the speed of youth at Old Trafford this morning. With a absolutely wonderful performance from Ronaldo, also a strong showing from Fletcher and Ole.
