Rooney hits a 100

Wayne Rooney scored his 100th goal for Manchester United, with a brilliant taken header. This fiftieth minute goal opened the floodgates and United scored four more goals, with Berbatov, Rooney, Owen and Nani adding to the score.

Brilliant.

The less said about Burnley the better..............

It was abysmal - Lets hope that's THE bad game out of our system and we can get some of the regulars back into the fold.

Anyways................

I'll try and post as much info as I can on here about how you can watch United live/delayed whether you have satellite or the Internet. There are times where Sky/ESPN don't show United games (a disgrace). I'll give you the weblink(s) and recommended stations to watch - cos we all do like an English commentary as opposed to say..........chinese.

Wigan v United - Sunday 23rd August 2am - SkySport 2 are showing it delayed from 4am
Arsenal v United - Sunday 30th August 4.15am - SkySport Live

Community Shield

An early goal from Nani and a last gasp effort from Rooney couldn't save Manchester United in this mornings match against Chelski.

After extra-time the game went to penalties and just when you thought we were over the penalty blues, it all comes rushing back.

REMEMBER the SIX ...... !

A low turnout today, couldn't stop the Red Machine turning it on against the pros of East Coast Bays.

In a breath-taking opening twenty minutes United went up one-nil, a sensational goal from Mikey, and just missed three more.

While they admired our resoluteness for playing with low numbers, they were simply stunned by our ball movement. But those misses came back to haunt us as late in the half, Baldy got away twice from our great defence and scored both times.

Into the second and we carried on playing superb football looking for that equaliser, time and again the ball just went over the crossbar as we completely flustered their defence. They got a very lucky penalty and their goalie trotted all the way down the pitch to just edge it past Jan in goal. We were straight back on attack and at least three or four went just over the top and two more shots hit the crossbar ! So unbeliveably we had totally out played them, but our failure to hit the net, saved them from a historic defeat.

Thanks to Mike T, Grant, Wes, Jan, Phil M for playing and Mel and friend for the fantastic support.

Brilliant game.
