And bad luck for Tavis

Tavis played in last weeks Chathams Cup Final, but unfortunately Three Kings had him in defence !

Tavis was a sensation when he played for Man Utd NZ last year and we hope we can get him back for a few games next season.

League Cup

Sir Alex Ferguson had sufficient respect for Wolves to field eight internationals in his starting line-up. But, in the end, it only took 10 men to overcome the challenge.

To Wolves’ credit, the margin of victory was only one goal and the visitors were never out of the game

Forthcoming Fixtures

There should be a good few links to play with as its being aired on Sky Sports UK plus many others........

Stoke v Man United is not being shown live on sunday morning as 2 of skys channels are being used for the Cricket Champions Trophy so they are showing it delayed at 11AM

It can be watched live at 3AM (Dont forget the clocks go forward this weekend so the time of the game will be exactly 12 hours ahead of UK time) by looking at the following link - http://www.myp2p.eu/broadcast.php?matchid=48843&part=sports

and finally for those of you who would like to watch all the UK terrestrial channels it is now possible by following the instructions on this link - http://www.myp2pforum.eu/live-tv/41045-british-tv.html

It's a much easier option so you can watch MOTD, champions league on ITV etc and all your favourite programs. Let me know how you get on

Sunday football

Great game of football today in the beautiful Huapai valley.

We had a top class team, with Jan in goal, Jim, Phil, Grant, Karl in defence, Hayden, Tommy, Steve T, Wes in the middle and our top goalscorers Gareth and Mike T up front.

Play was very fluid with the Red machine making lots of breaks but failing to finish them, Steve was his usual magical self, Hayden flowed with his youth and Grant and Phil held the centre of defence solid. There was plenty of vocal support from a full terrace of Red, but the goals once again wouldn't come. So the first half ended at nil all, the lads and the gaffer delighted with their play.
The talk was all positive and the Reds took it to the blues straight away in the second half with a number of close shots and interesting corners. Steve and Karl had long range shots just pushed away and Mike was desperately unlucky a couple of times, but we just couldn't squeeze one thru. Then as always happens, a lucky break gave Oxo a chance and the big guy don't need any seconds, so totally against the play and we were one down. The heads dropped a little as we realised the missed opportunities and Oxo managed another couple, including a beautiful diving header (if you know the big guy, then you can imagine the sight), he is all class tho. So we were defeated but not beaten and our guys have played excellent football all season, so we can hold our heads high.

Due to an ever changing cup date, management has decided not press with this anymore and will make sure this is all sorted out earlier next season. So no tournament, but a fantastic season anyhow and a trophy too.

Management would like thank todays supporters, Mick, Alma, Roy, Mel, Amber, Lisa, Kate, Jayden, Kiana, Carrie, Anamaya, Kobe and their friends.

And I would personally like to thank all the players who turned out for us this year, its been great, been some wonderful football and good after match chats.

So enjoy the Summer and we will see you all at the Xmas party or at next seasons Asian NY Tournament !
