MUNZ v Onehunga

A good game of football this afternoon as the Man Utd NZ team took on the blues of Onehunga.

In a spellbinding first half where no one could stick it in, the blues got a very lucky goal.

And so it remained until the 70th minute, when they got an even more scummier goal, we then lost a bit of shape and they managed to score again.

Rooney wins another top award

Wayne Rooney has added the Football Writers' Association Footballer of the Year to his PFA award.
The 24 year old topped the poll of journalists at just over81% of a record number of votes cast finishing ahead of Didier Drogba and Carlos Tevez to win this prestigious accolade that has been running since 1948.

Well Done Rooney… Again

Wayne Rooney has been named the Football Writers’ Association Player of the Year.

Rooney collected 80% of the vote for the award with Chelsea’s Didier Drogba ranked a distant second.

This award follows on from the PFA Player of the Year which he won last week.
