Great night

A small field attended the quiz part of the night, but wow, they were all pretty awesome at football.

Four Four Two (the Man Utd NZ team) took out the honours in a tight finish with less than twenty points separating first from last. A great effort by all the teams.

Thanks to Woody for putting together the quiz and being the MC.

By the time the game kicked off, the pub had filled right up and the atmosphere was excellent.

So well done to our guys and well done the All Whites.

Well, the big one starts tonight, with various United players spread thru the teams.

I will also be supporting Germany, Serbia and Ghana in the first round games, lol ....

Meeting and Quiz, 15th June.

Hi Guys,
Further to my earlier post, I can confirm that the football quiz is definitely on Tuesday night.

As the club meeting is scheduled for the next night, we have decided to move this to the Tuesday night too. We will have the meeting at 7.30pm Tuesday followed by the quiz and then the New Zealand game live.

Quiz Night

We would like to run a quiz night to coincide with the NZ v Slovakia match on Tuesday 15th of June at Speaker's Corner from 7:30 pm (quiz starting around 8:30 pm) match kick off 11:30 pm.
As this falls the day before our Club meeting date, we will double this as the Club meeting (before the Quiz)
