MUNZ vs Takapuna
Man Utd NZ took the field against the Old Farts, slightly weakened but in great heart, and with the youth out wide, we delivered it in true red style, going two nil up inside 20 minutes.
Unfortunately the rain arrived and the refs watch got a bit fogged, as we played another 40 minutes in pouring rain, allowing them to get ahead by sheer endurance, they having full wind and force 10 rain in their advantage.
Then turning around, they only wanted to play 20 minutes before the ref found his whistle and called it off.
What a rip-off, but we allowed it to happen and our performance after 7 weeks off, was fantastic !
So onwards and upwards and see you all at Huapai, this Sunday at three o'clock.
