England produced their best performance under manager Steve McClaren as they beat Russia 3-0 at Wembley on Wednesday night to bolster their hopes of qualifying for Euro 2008. Two goals from man-of-the-match Michael Owen and a late strike from Rio Ferdinand clinched a memorable win for England.


But more importantly, Scotland beat France 1-0 !!!
