Down by the river

A slight hiccup on Uniteds way to the Premiership, as Middlesbrough got a well deserved draw at the Riverside Stadium. Played in lovely British weather, ( don't it make you glad you are out here ), both teams played great football and it was Ronaldo who opened Uniteds account (chasing Denis Laws goalscoring record) with a well taken goal. Then it was all Middlesbrough as their new Brazilian took it to us with two great goals. But once again Rooney rose to the occasion and grabbed the equaliser, then a series of near misses, with Rooney heading a cross from Hargreaves, which the keeper just saved, leading to a goal-mouth scramble, then with ten seconds to go in injury time, the 'boro had their chance to win it, but Van de Man saved the day.

and a good day for our Cardiff, with the Bluebirds getting thru to the FA Cup Final.
